The Sprint Review is help at the end of each Sprint and is the opportunity for the team to demonstrate and discuss what it has completed during the Sprint. The audience includes importantly the Product Owner (PO) and any other interested stakeholders.
In this meeting the PO will identify items that meet the acceptance criteria and accept them. However, this must not be the first time the PO has seen them and a rule should be that there are no surprises during this meeting. If the Product Owner has not seen the items being demonstrated before hand then the meeting maybe monopolised into a discussion about one item. This must not happen. The Product Owner must be active throughout the Sprint and must see all features before this meeting.
Other things that should be discuss include:
- Any major problems the team ran into
- The PO can disucss the current projections based on current progress
- The entire team talks about where they are in the project and what they feel is the next logical step
Suggested time box: 2 hours for a 2 week Sprint but a maximum of 4 hours for a monthly Sprint
